Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at Etrailer, and today we have the Yakima SkinnyWarrior Roof Basket. We're gonna take a look at how it fits our 2018 Ford Escape. If you're looking for a way to expand your cargo space, maybe you have a big trip planned and not everything's gonna fit inside your Ford Escape, or maybe you want to carry around the gear for the other accessories you're carrying on your roof, that's where the Yakima SkinnyWarrior can come in handy. It's gonna be a skinny roof basket with dimensions of 58 inches long by 23 inches wide, so if you needed to carry other things, like a kayak, or a roof-mounted bike rack, you can do so while still having that extra cargo space. This is how much space you have left over for those other accessories. Now, I do have this on 60 inch long Yakima bars, and we have it on the overhang of those bars, but even if we had a roof rack without overhang, there'd still be room left over for those other accessories. more

How's it going everybody Today we are going to be taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods Cargo Basket and how it fits on our 2021 Ford F-150. Typically, this might sit on the roof, but in our case we have it on the bed rack system that we have installed on our F-150, just 'cause that's gonna make our items much easier to get to and we can still use our bed while getting this up on top and increasing the storage space overall of our vehicle. So let's take a closer look. Our basket is gonna be made out of durable black powder coated steel. The whole construction is going to be that material, so it's gonna hold up really well against rust and corrosion, and all of these points, including the top and bottom rails as well as the rails that go through are gonna be points where we can strap things down to, which I definitely recommend. Curt Roof Basket Review - 2021 Ford F-150- Video
How's it going everyone Today we are going to be taking a look at the Curt Cargo basket and how it fits on our 2021 Ford F-150. Typically, these are gonna be designed to fit up on your roof, but in our setup right now, we have this on our bed rack. Just gonna make things much easier to access without having to reach all the way up there. It's gonna work the same though, and we can take a closer look now at how it's gonna work. The basket's going to be made of black powder coated steel, so it's gonna be durable, rust and corrosion resistant. And that means that top and bottom rails, all these side rails, and the rails that run through to support our items are also gonna be able to be used as tie down points. more

How's it going, everyone It's Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima SkinnyWarrior, typically rooftop, Cargo basket and how it fits on our 2021 Ford F-150. I say typically because that is what it's designed for, but as you can see on our setup today, we have it on our bed rack, which is gonna be a great option for us because now if I want to be able to access these items without getting up on top of my roof, I still can, which makes it easier to work with. So let's check out how it works. It's called the SkinnyWarrior because it does not take up very much crossbar space at all. On our setup right now, we have 78-inch bars and we have well over half here. more

How's it going, it's Ethan here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima SkinnyWarrior Rooftop Cargo Basket, how it fits on our 2022 Ford Edge. So with the Edge, we have a decent amount of storage in the back, but maybe you have some longer, larger items you wanna get up on your roof. Maybe they're just gonna make a little bit of a mess. Maybe you just don't have room for them in the first place, but you want an option that's gonna leave you a ton of room on the other side of your roof rack system for other accessories. This is gonna be a really solid choice, so let's check it out. With this basket we have 165-pound weight capacity, which is pretty standard for most of the things that you're gonna be putting up on your roof, keeping in mind though that it also does have a weight of 23 pounds. more

Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods Rooftop Cargo Basket, and seeing how it fits on our 2022 Ford Maverick. Now, a basket's gonna be good to just get some extra stuff in your vehicle, whether the bed is full or maybe covered up, and we're gonna get some extra stuff up on top of the vehicle. Inside the Maverick, you don't have a whole lot of room, besides your room for passengers. So if you maybe have some camping gear or things you wanna put up here that isn't gonna fit in the bed or you just wanna keep the bed open for other stuff, this is a great place to do it. This is a pretty basic basket, not a whole lot of extra bells and whistles to it, but that's why it's kind of nice. more

Now, rooftop basket can be good for a number of things. In addition to just being able to store some extra stuff in your vehicle, maybe we've got the bed full of stuff and not enough room inside the vehicle to put our extra things, or we just got some stuff that's messy or wet and we don't wanna get it inside the vehicle. Something like a basket's a nice option, because we can put it up on top of the vehicle, it's very easy to clean, and it doesn't get any of the mess inside. The SkinnyWarrior is kind of a unique basket in the sense that it's a different shape than most. more

Hi everyone, Aiden here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at this Rhino Rack roof-mounted cargo basket on top of our 2022 Ford Maverick. Now, a roof basket is good for a number of things. It's gonna let you carry extra stuff with you or just get some messier stuff up on top of your vehicle that maybe you don't want to have in the vehicle. In the case of the Maverick, you do have your bed, but if you've got that full of stuff and you don't have any room inside the vehicle then you're pretty much outta luck in terms of space. So, if you've got some larger stuff in the bed and you need a little bit of extra room for maybe some bags if you're going on a trip this is a great way to get that stuff on your trip and in your car. more

Hey, it's Ethan an etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods 46-by-36 inch Roof Cargo Basket on our 2021 Ford Bronco Sport. A roof basket like this could come in handy if you have some larger items that might not necessarily fit in the back of your vehicle or you just have some things on there that you might not wanna store in your vehicle that might be a little bit dirty or sandy, anything like that, this is just gonna be a great way to increase the storage capacity of your vehicle. This basket itself, is capable of supporting 165 pounds, and it has a depth of about 4 1/4 inches, so it'll support just about anything that you can fit in there. The nice feature that this carrier offers are the ability to put straps at pretty much any one of these points, including the top tubes as well as the bottom. And additionally, there is this built-in fairing at the front. more

This basket is capable of supporting up to 165 pounds, which is a little bit more than other cargo baskets in its class. So this is gonna be an excellent way of getting a little bit more of that cargo space inside of your Ford Edge, really freeing it up that way if you guys have any of those weekend trips, long summer trips, anything like that, really start making it easier to go ahead and actually sit inside your car without feeling cramps. Becomes a great way of to just keeping maybe some of your sports assessors outside of your vehicle. Curt Roof Basket Review - 2020 Ford Edge- Video
Hey, everybody welcome to etrailer.com. I'm Bobby, and today we're taking a look at the Curt roof mounted cargo basket here on our 2020 Ford Edge. So if you guys are looking for a way of just getting a little bit of that cargo out of your vehicle and on top of your roof, this is definitely gonna be an excellent way to do it. What's nice about it We're not gonna be breaking the bank, but we're still getting a very nice secure way of going ahead and latching on our cargo, that way it's with us whenever we get to our destination. Now the Ford Edge here doesn't have the worst cargo management out there I think it has a pretty decent back end of course, but as soon as you load up four people in a vehicle, it quickly fills up, especially, you guys are finding yourself on a longer road trip or something like that, especially fitting all the snacks in, so this is an excellent way of getting that bulky cargo out of there, freeing up some space. Secondly, it's really good for anything like sports activities, if we do have those big old gym bags or sets of football gear, soccer, whatever, baseball, we're setting in all that soiled linens on the inside of the vehicle, can definitely get a little musty, kind of get that smell, right. more

So, as you guys probably know by now, not a lot of cargo space here in our Ford Bronco Sport, and this way, you can go ahead and keep all your cargo needs right here on the side of your roof, and what that's going to let you do, as you guys can see, give you plenty of clearance on the other side, for any of your other accessory needs, much like a J stock kayak carrier, a roof bike, or a roof bike carrier, whatever you guys really want to go ahead and put on here, gonna have the room to do it. Now, one little caveat, I will say I would probably shift this forward just a little bit. You don't have to have it set just like we here today. more

Yakima Roof Basket Review - 2009 Ford F-150- Video
Hey, everybody, welcome to etrailer.com, I'm Bobby. And today we're taking a look at the Yakima OffGrid Roof-Mounted Cargo Basket here on our 2009 Ford F-150. Now obviously this isn't on our roof, it's on the bed of our truck, and how we're doing that is gonna be a little special something called this RetraxONE XR Hard Tonneau Cover with the T-slot track on the sides. So this guy is amazing, however, it's not what we're showcasing off here today. This is just simply what's allowing us to use our OffGrid, of course, giving us a nice little crossbar system to go ahead and run across and actually go ahead and clamp this on the bed of our truck. What's great about this, you're getting that tonneau cover, right, but you're also getting this maximum space here. more

Here's our Yakima Off-Grid Roof Cargo Basket on a 2018 Ford Fiesta. So the roof cargo basket adds a whole storage capacity on a vehicle that has a small trunk and already has a bike rack on it. So if you're going on a long extended mountain bike trip or camping with the family, you're able to put your coolers, bags, tents, whatever you need up there. You also had the ability to shift it over and put a separate bike rack or whatever supplies you have. So the size of the cargo basket is 44 by 40. So what does that mean Well, for pictorial reference, you probably have cooler like this at home, and if you're going camping, you're probably taking it with you. more

Today, we're going to be taking a look at the MaxxTow MaxxHaul roof cargo basket on our 2018 Ford Expedition.So, this is going to be ideal for those situations where you have a couple passengers and they got a lot of luggage and you want to free up some of that space in the cabin. We're going to be able to put all of their luggage, even maybe even some of our watersports stuff, because we don't want to get the inside of our car all wet. Yakima LoadWarrior Roof Cargo Basket Review - 2014 Ford Taurus- Video
Today on our 2014 Ford Taurus, we're going to be test fitting the Yakima Loadwarrior Roof Rack Cargo Basket, part number Y07070. With the Whispbar Through Bar Rack system already installed on our Taurus, we'll go ahead and place the rack onto the bars. Next we'll line up the clamps with the bars, swing the clamp onto the bar and secure it with a T-bolt on the other side. Now, I'll make sure and tighten down both the front and rear knobs securing that clamp to the bar. After that one's secured and lined up, we can go ahead and move to the other three positions. After repeating the tightening process at the other three positions, the rack is now secured to the car and it's ready to go. That'll conclude today's test fit of the Yakima Loadwarrior Roof Rack, part number Y07070 on our 2014 Ford Taurus. . more

Thule MOAB Roof Top Cargo Basket Review - 2014 Ford Explorer- Video
Today on our 2014 Ford Explorer we're going to be test fitting the Thule Mohave Rooftop Cargo Carrier, the mother of all baskets, part number TH690XT. With our Thule Rapids Crossroads Roof Rack system already installed on the Explorer, we'll begin our test fit by placing our cargo basket directly onto our load bars. We'll position our clamps just behind our load bars, we'll then go around and remove one of the bolts and wing nuts from each of the clamps. With all of them removed, we'll move our basket forward slightly, resting the top portion of our clamps onto the top of our load bars. We'll then reinsert the bolt in the lower portion of the clamp, swing it around, fit it up through the top portion of the clamp, and then thread on a wing nut. We can then tighten down the both the wing nuts on this clamp and it will be secure. We'll now move to the three remaining clamps and repeat that same tightening process. more

Thule MOAB Roof Top Cargo Basket Review - 2010 Ford Flex- Video
Today on our 2010 Ford Flex, well be test fitting a Thule Moab rooftop cargo basket part number TH690XT. Well begin our test fit by placing the carrier on to the vehicles load bars. Well loosen up the gray wing nuts to black brackets around the other side of the load bars. Well insert a silver bolt through the holes and use the wing nuts to thread back on to the silver bolts securing the brackets to the load bars.Note that with this vehicles cross bar spread once that bracket will be difficult to get on. Youll have to make sure that the wing nuts are loosen up enough for your wing nuts to thread on. Once all the brackets are tightened down, our Thule Moab are secured to our Ford Flex. more

Thule MOAB Roof Top Cargo Basket Review - 2013 Ford Escape- Video
Today on our 2013 Ford Escape, well be test fitting the Thule MOAB Rooftop Cargo Carrier or also known as, The Mother of All Baskets, part number TH690. Now with our roof rack system already assembled onto the vehicle, well set our roof top basket onto the crossbars making sure that our brackets line up evenly with our crossbars. Now with the basket positioned onto the crossbars, well swing the brackets on the underneath side of the crossbars and tighten them down using the included wing nuts. We will repeat these steps for all the other brackets. Once the basket is tightened down and secured to the crossbars, were ready to load our cargo. That completes todays test fit for the Thule MOAB Rooftop Cargo Carrier, part number TH690 on our 2013 Ford Escape. more
